Yemaja Dress (2024) - this was my term garment my last semester at FIT’s AAS Fashion Design Program. Our theme was African Diaspora, and as I take learning about other religions in my free time, I chose to be inspired by Yoruba. I chose to represent the Goddess Yemaja; she is a fertility and Ocean goddess. My second inspiration was African hair braiding as traditionally different styles had different culture meaning. I chose to be inspired by a style that symbolizes motherhood and spirituality. I made a hand-dyed ombre fabric from white to blue for my mini dress. I have tiny tulle gathers all over the body, and it is all topped with ombre tulle braids.

Boggart (2024) - This is part of a group project collection inspired by the Drain Gang, a group of swedish rappers. I took inspiration from their more futuristic goth style that the group sports. This is a felt backed denim coat that features a steel boned mid section to give a corseted look. It is a drop shoulder coat with a wide flared sleeves and a funnel collar.

Model: Ardin Wilson

Midnight evening gown (2018) - This is a bustier style gown made out of silk satin and chiffon. This dress has a built in waist stay using couture sewing techniques as well as home made bust cups. The off the should sleeves extends to the back to lace up the back. This is a beautiful dress perfect for prom.
